My Dog Sam
Dear Abby, I too was picked on when I was a child and I too turned to our dog Queenie. She always gave me love and she always listened. Bless you.
I like those scents as well! I am a little weird though and not too fond of cinnamon. I think I am the only person in the world that does not like that smell, lol.
Uh...nope...you arent the only one. Well, I am not a fan of the mixture of the apple cinnamon scents....cinnamon by itself is just fine....like the scented cinnamon pine cones, but there is only so much of that I can take. But i am not a fan of cinnamon either. I can honestly do without it...so many other holiday scents out there that i dont feel like i am missing out on anything
Apple-cinnamon, peppermint, wood-smoke, the smell of a freshly snuffed candle (the smell signals to me the end of our Christmas play at the small church I attended as a child--we put candles in the windows to have a small amount of light during the play)
I love the smell of cookies baking, anything with cinnamon, peppermint, pine, I love it all. My favorite holiday candle is Yankee Candle Holiday Home Sweet Home, I bought some of those last year and will be getting more.
Candle type scents: Apple cinnamon, pumkin spice, Gingerbread, Sugar Cookies, Vanilla type scents
"Real" scents: the fireplace burning (at my in-laws...we aren't lucky enough to have one), the smell of sage and onions (always reminds me of holidays at grandmas), that holiday "cooking" smell that overwhelms you when you walk in a house and the turkey is in the oven, the potatoes are on the stove, etc. MMMMMM.....
