Giant Mess in the Wrapping Department

Elf Wally is pulling his hair out. The Wrapping Department is a big mess and is falling behind schedule.

"Well, it didn't help that we had to move our operation to Tampa, Florida for a week!" said Elf Wally. "Down there the weather was so hot the tape came off the dispensers too fast and some presents got way too much tape. The sticky stuff from the tape stuck to the elves' hands and we had just the biggest mess. Now we're back home and we can't find a thing. We have dolls where bikes should be, we have blue wrapping paper where red usually goes. Oh, I need a nap!"

I should tell you, Elf Wally is a little high strung. He is a very organized elf. That is likely why Santa put him in charge of wrapping. It requires someone with a sense of order. Poor Wally had to move everything once and then move it back...a week before Christmas.

Mrs. Ernest and I will forget about going on our date tonight. We're going to help Elf Wally wrap presents. If you get a present wrapped by me, you'll see a little "E" written on the back of the tag on your present. Look for me!
