Santa Down Under: Brisbane, Melbourne Give Merry Reports

Australia is now reporting visits by Santa Claus. And so far, there have been no eye-witness reports of Santa anywhere. But there is plenty of evidence that Santa has been there.

Australia is a big place with lots of believers. It usually takes a little time for Santa to deliver the whole country. One of the ways we know at the North Pole if Santa has delivered a present is through a special little homing device we embed in every gift Santa leaves behind. The reports from the homing devices are bursting into computers at the North Pole indicating that Santa has likely covered all of Australia already.

We don't know how he does it, frankly. Santa is amazing. But we are willing to bet that not a single kid in Australia hoping to catch Santa in the act was actually able to do it. If you saw Santa early this morning in Australia, please contact me at the North Pole. We'd like to hear your story.

Stay tuned to these pages for more news on Santa and Operation Merry Christmas 2005.
