I think it does! I love the boxing and stepping. I actually loved the hula hooping but not sure I can do that now with my back. The balance games are fun! At Physical Therapy, they told me to try some of the strengthening exercises so I'll have something else to try.

It did the same thing to my hubby. He's 6' 5" and 250 lbs....all muscle. The Wii Fit said he was overweight. It doesn't take into consideration your bone density and muscle mass.

LOL Yeah. But it does give you a workout! Same with Wii Punch Out.

I got back on my Wii Fit last night after taking the summer off! WOW...I thought I stayed in pretty good shape over the summer through walking, riding bike, a little jogging, etc but the Wii Fit works all kinds of different muscles!!! Lol! I couldn't believe how the things I thought were "easy" last spring are now a challenge again! Time to make that my routine again...

My mom mentioned getting a Wii for my husband for Christmas. If she does, I'm going to get the Wii Fit accessories and games to go with it because I need to work off some baby weight!

We love ours. It will probably only take you a few months to hit the top levels on each of the challenge areas. But even then, it's fun.

Also, the new Wii Fit Plus offers new, enhanced versions of the games.

When I joined the gym earlier in the year I took about a month off from the Wii. When I started back up again, every muscle was sooo sore! The Wii works different muscles than what I work at the gym.
