Russian City of Vorkuta Reports

Once again Santa Claus has retreated to a cooler climate as he makes his way back north into Russia. Santa's Weather Tracking Department has sent an alert to Santa to watch for blizzard conditions as he approaches northern provinces. Most recently the Russian City of Vorkuta has reported a Merry Christmas.

Here at the North Pole the annual Christmas party is in full swing. Someone dipped a squirt gun in the eggnog and started blasting away at the participants in the annual Christmas dance marathon, knocking out 3 very unhappy elf couples. We have not found the shooter yet -- he was using a long-distance super soaker, likely with a scope -- but Mrs. Claus has reinstated all eggnog covered participants to the contest.

Elf Victor is looking ahead to get a break for Santa and the reindeer. But Santa has said he has no desire to slowdown delivery.

Stay tuned to these pages for more news on Santa and Operation Merry Christmas 2005.
