We are definitely homebodies on Christmas/Christmas Eve. That way, we can do our own traditions and do things the way we want too. Plus, I think it's hard if you have to travel and haul all the Christmas presents elsewhere. If we travel at Christmas time, we always go a day or two after Christmas.

On Christmas Day, our tradition is that we don't even get dressed. We stay in our Christmas PJs all day long. I'm not sure we could do that if we went anywhere.

My 9 year old daughter doesn't even like the thought of us being gone during the holidays. She's been like that for years.

My parents have spent Christmas with us the past 2 years and that's been fun to have them join us for our festivities.

Since I live out of state from the majority of my family I like to spend Christmas at home with my boyfriend. A few weeks before Christmas I will usually go out to see them and we just do Christmas a little early.

We travel a bit....our families are in different towns...my wife's is about 25 minutes away so we see them and mine are here in town...right now...that's fine...but when we have a little one (hopefully SOON), that's going to have to change....

I can understand that. When the little ones start to come things will changes.

WE stay at home. We always have done. I stay in PJ's most of the day - enjoying the day as best as i can. However, my parents and nanny go to my 2 elder sisters houses and i stay in with my other sister! It's great though, because we see them Christmas Eve and Boxing Day.
