On Christmas Eve we are vising OH's family. They normally all gather together at MIL's house. There will be maybe 20-25 there.

Christmas Day is just for us. We visit the pub, have a nice big meal and then just crash for the rest of the day.

The 26th (Boxing Day in the UK) we visit my Mum. There will probably be 15-20 there that day if the whole family decides to show.

Not sure who is all coming over yet for Christmas dinner yet but I do know that my dad and his wife will be joining us for Christmas Breakfest.

Usually on Christmas Eve it is just us me, DH , our 2 kids and my mom. Dh's brother may join us for dinner, not sure yet.

This will be the first time in around ten years my husband won't be working on Christmas Day (police officer) so everyone is coming to us - around ten people.

Wow, Let me take this time to say thank you to you and your husband. I appears that he has had to sacrifice your Christmas for all of us to be safe. Thanks a million times over.

Decades ago we celebrated Christmas Day dinner with a very full table. Mostly close family members, guests from our church or workplace and such. As time has gone by our grandparents have passed on, as well as our parents and other loved ones. Our gathering is a bit smaller, yet always filled with great conversation and laughter (as well as many wonderful shared memories...!)
