WOW!! Is that a huge increase? Or have the prices been going up for awhile. It seems that, not that long ago, I used some envelopes and some small boxes and I don't think either were above $3. But maybe it's been longer than I recall...

We manage to pack most of our Christmas packages in flat rate boxes, and it IS a money-saver when you have lots of packages to send. I hope it continues to be a money-saver at the higher rates ...

Thanks for the info. With my sister and her family living in seattle we use the flat rate boxes alot. With the price increase it may be cheaper to start sending some stuff ground mail instead.

I use it all the time, and I think it is still worth it depending on the weight of the items being sent.
