My Merry Christmas Announcement

Christmas Decorations Christmas is a hands-on art. From the lights we put on the house to the decorations we put on the tree to the great foods we eat in the process, Christmas is a time of doing -- and this is the place we gather to talk, plan and share.

Your Favorite Ornaments?

I'm surely not the only one who has a favorite ornament, right? Describe or post a pic of your favorite ornament(s) on your tree and tell a bi about why they're so special.

I'll end up posting pics later. The ornaments are all in the attic right now ><.

My two absolute favorites are new, and I can't find them right now (waugh). One is a wooden cat with a Santa hat, and the other is a sparkly bird. I got them this summer in Germany, which is why they're so special. The cat also reminds me of my first cat, Sylvester, who died 4 years ago.

That's really neat ^.^. My family wasn't very artistic, so the closest to things like that we have are really old ornaments and stuff my sisters made in grade school.

kelly88 has shown a merry disposition
Mine is a tiny robin sitting on a branch that my friend bought me about 5 years ago. If you put him just right he looks like he's really sitting on the branches.

That's awesome! How far back does that go, then? Late 1800s?
