Well...tomorrow its supposed to be 98 degrees (with the humidity) up here in south-western Ontario (Canada). I'm sure that those of you from the southern states get it much worse than we do - up in the "great white north" I long for the days when there is a chill in the air...the leaves start to change colour and fall...to the first snowfall! Only a few more months to go!

So - I'm driving to my parents house today...its hot outside...the sun is shining brightly in the sky...and I'm playing Leann Rimes "What a Wonderful World" CD in the car! This helps me get into the Christmas spirit when its hot and sticky outside. I just throw myself into the lyrics of the Christmas songs I'm listening to.

I think my imagination helps me stay that way. For example, as I'm walking from the train station to the office every day...I just think about when the Christmas decorations and lights will be in the store-front windows - red and green and gold and silver...and it makes me smile! I CANNOT WAIT!!!

Oh...I was actually just thinking that in about 2 months...the Sears Christmas Wish catalogue will be arriving!

So...what helps me stay in the Christmas spirit throughout these very hot days is Christmas music - and memories - and watching Christmas movies whenever I can!

Actually...being a part of this wonderful site is helping even more! Thank you to everyone!!!
