Christmas Story by far is my favorite movie! I love the scene Christmas morning with all of the snow and Ralphie and Randy running to the tree. All of the family things they do, getting a tree, going to the parade and seeing Santa at the mall. I just love all of it.
Home Alone 1- Love the house and how the neighborhood is all lit up.
Home Alone 2- Christmas in New York! The tree in Rockafeller center.
Christmas Vacation- I love all of the decorating even though it's out of control but it reminds me of any holiday dinner we've ever had where a ton of relatives show up. All the chaos, the eye rolling. hahah!!!
While you were Sleeping- Nobody seems to think this is a Christmas movie or nobody has seen it. But, the parents house is decorated so nice. I love that whole scene where she goes to their house to celebrate Christmas and she pulls up and just looks at the house and it's everything she's been missing in her life. The family welcomes her and she's just enjoying the moment of not being alone on Christmas.
Holiday Inn- I love that Inn.
"You used up all the glue on purpose!"-A Christmas Story
Jimmyolsen summed it up well....i remember when WGN used to make Holiday commercials out of scenes from shows and movies and the used that scene in the inn on that first Christmas in Holiday Inn.....just beautiful.....Also, although very different....the scenes of the trees in the club in New York and then the studio in Los Angeles look so fancy yet vintage....that movie is just very well "set"
Oh and yes Santa's Helper that scene in While you were sleeping is great! And this one isnt a Christmas movie at all but when Cher and the boyfriend are in front of the tree on New Years Eve at the costume party as midnight strikes in Mermaids...i love that too even though it is New Years instead of Christmas....the big fat lights on the tree....again vintage looking and really pretty
