My Dog Sam
Dear Abby, I too was picked on when I was a child and I too turned to our dog Queenie. She always gave me love and she always listened. Bless you.
I'm not sure if I told you all about this or not. I recently got married (Nov. 1st last year) in a very small wedding. My grandmother and mom decided to throw my new husband and me a sort of reception party about a month later.
When they sent out the invitations, they told guests that gifts weren't necessary, but recipes would be welcome. The invites all included a recipe card for the guests to write on.
So now, DH and I have about 200 recipes to go through (some people gave more than 1 recipe). It was a little intimidating and we couldn't decide what to try first, so we put it off. My mom suggested the other day that we just mix them up and start at the beggining and try each one every week or so.
So that's what we're doing. The first recipe is a hot pizza dip. I'm hoping to make it tonight or tomorrow. If we don't make it this weekend, we'll be sure to make it next weekend.
And if there are any super yummy recipes, I'll be sure to share them with anyone!!
