How did/do you celebrate your baby's first Christmas??

This will be Hagin's very first Christmas!!
I want it to be a very special time for him and the whole family too.
He gets a stocking (of course), and of COURSE Santa is bringing him some toys and things because he's been soooo good this year!! Or should I say the past 7 months!? hahaha
But, what do you do to celebrate your little one's very first Christmas?
Hagin will be 10 months old for Christmas. He was born Feb 12th.

=)

we tried a picture with Santa...kinda worked, got her a santa hat, a my first Christmas bib, got her baby food that matched our meal - turkey / sweet potatoes / etc, had an ornament made for her, did a finger paint - in green baby hand cutout that made into a Christmas wreath, then had lots of toys and goodies.....course she only really liked a 96 cents teething ring type toy....go figure. =)

Oh, let me think back to Christmas 2005...DD was 6 months old. She was a pig in the children's Christmas program at church & I was a shepherd! Daycare made all kinds of things with her pictures, hand & footprints, & I still bring them out each year. Pictures with Santa, watched the hometown Christmas parade from inside the car where it was warm, and she laughed the whole time! I don't remember doing anything on Christmas Eve that year. Christmas Day was on Sunday that year, because I remember going to church. She had on her little red velveteen dress, looking cute! After church, we went to DH's parent's house for lunch & gift exchange, then to dinner at my parent's house. DD got one big gift from Santa that year since she wasn't old enough to ask for a lot! I don't know what it's called, but it's a cube with a side to hold blocks with letters & objects in/on them. On the top, some of the blocks will cause music to play. She enjoyed it and still plays with it occasionally. My mom & MIL started their tradition of each giving her a Hallmark ornament. Her tiny "Charlie Brown" tree is almost full! I had gotten her stocking the Christmas before because I happened to find on that matched the ones DH & I already had. Each has a different character on it: DH: snowman, Me: angel, DD: Santa

Oh man...it breaks my heart to know my little boy is getting so big! This will be his second Christmas. We got him a baby's first Christmas outfit that we're saving, as well as a Santa hat.
