I did see Silent Night, Deadly Night - I agree it wasn't good, but I also found it very sad. Did anyone watch any of the sequels? I saw a few of them as they were on the bill for a friend's movie night - not very good!!!

I loved all the Silent Night, Deadly night sequels but its been years since i last saw them. They to me fit in as the funny horror of the 80's and 90's

I've only seen about half of those. I voted Gremlins with Die Hard in a close second place. I'll have to make it a point to rent a few of those this season.
Thanks for the tip rm!

I voted for slient night, dealy night, but that was a mistake. Honestly I love horror movies.but not big on the 80's ones. I like to go back to even the 70's. When I voted on this poll. I was thinking of silent night, evil night which was the renamed version of Bob clarks,Black Christmas(1974)(who also produced 1983' a chrsitmas story. to me that is the most creepy film ever. the wierd thing is the Christmas atmosphere is amazing at the sorority house. and Morgot kidder and Olvia Hussey are great as well.

Snowflake

I remember "Black Christmas" from the mid seventies scared the heck out of me at the time. I liked Gremlins a lot.
