You are very lucky! The last 'proper' break myself and my husband had was in March. That was the only break we have had since having the kids.

LOL if any of you were closer to me I would babysit for you. I love kids and never really have any problems with them. As for the single parent thing I honestly do not know how a woman or a man does it all on their own. For those couples that do have kids I commend you ALOT. Even with two people it is hard. Dunno this from experience just from talking and observation. I wish I was able to have kiddos, but I can't. Adoption is what we are looking at doing and most likely next year will be the year for it.

I've been home with my sick babies...where I should be and where I wanted to be. But since they're doing some better, my hubby canceled everything else this evening and took me out to eat, to Barnes and Nobles, and to Walmart. It was very much needed. I was feeling jittery inside and needed a break. I'm so grateful for that much needed break.
I do NOT know how single parents make it. Hugs to all you single mommies and daddies doing your best.
YOU SAID IT! Keep up the great work single Mom's and Dad's!!!

I have a few friends that are single parents. I don't know how they do it, but hats off to them.

Glad you had fun Linda....without date nights I would loose my mind! Sometimes we do in-house date nights if funds are low, or we can't get a sitter. I feed the kids and send them upstairs early, and my hubby and I order take out and either play a game or order an on demand movie.
