Ive bought stocking fillers, like nail varnish, kiddie make-up etc. She has loads of Barbies etc and although she asked for MORE Barbies and Kens I dont really want to buy anymore because its absolutely ridiculous (i collect dolls too) and we have no room.
What do you buy a 6 year old girl?? Shes at that awkward age if you know what I mean?

When I was six, I absolutely LOVED those American Girl "Bitty Baby" dolls. They were my favorite thing. Although they don't eat like newer dolls and they can't go to the bathroom or anything like that, they were my favorite. The clothes for them are very cute and they made me feel the most "mommy-like" when I was a child.

Other things that I loved were those Polly Pocket dolls. My friends and I used to play with them and trade and dress them up. They aren't real sized dolls, they are little and easy to take along anywhere.

Another thing that I loved and that stuck with me for a long time was play-food. I loved to pretend that I was cooking and that I made my own dinner. My friends and I pretended that we had our own restuarant and served one another.

I'm pretty sure all three of these things are still around, so hopefully you find something that works for her! Six is a fun age, although it can be a little challenging to buy for. Another thing that would work is games. I know that I liked board games when I was a little girl, I liked to read and they always kept me busy. Plus anyone could play with her!

Good luck!
