I've bought some small items on Christmas eve occasionally, but since I hated the crowded stores and grouchy, pushy people, I chose to spend a little more and have my shopping done before Thanksgiving. It was worth the extra money to me. In fact, thanks to the internet, I rarely go to the mall unless I have to purchase clothing. Anything I can buy on line, I do.

FIL does all his shopping on Christmas Eve morning, unless it's on Sunday. Then, he'll shop on the 23rd. We went with them once just to see how crazy it was!

DH & I took DD to the mall one year on Christmas Eve afternoon, just to people watch & eat at the food court. That really was fun, because we were just there to watch while the other people were frantically running around!

Last year DH waited until Christmas Eve afternoon to buy a gift for his best friend, then I ended up at Dollar Tree to buy scissors, tape, & wrapping paper and wrapped the gift in the car on the way to best friend's house!

I'd rather be in my house nesting between December 23rd and December 26th. I'll check out the after-Christmas sales later.

I sometimes have grab a few stocking stuffers or something at the grocery store, but Christmas Eve is a holiday in my mind, and I don't want to spend it at the mall.

I usually end up at a grocery store sometime on christmas eve to get something that my sister forgot. I always end up buying those plastic candy canes filled with candy for everyone and lottery tickets to stick in everyone's stocking while I am there.

My DH does. He's been that way as long as I've known him. Does everything last minute.
