My Dog Sam
Dear Abby, I too was picked on when I was a child and I too turned to our dog Queenie. She always gave me love and she always listened. Bless you.
Do not feel alone kelly. My cat decided that the tree is her own personal playground this year. I came downstairs yesterday morning and the tree was leaning back against the window with HALF the ornaments all over the floor. I went after her with the waterbottle- she was still IN the tree and she is now just sitting on her box beside the tree looking at it. Caught her growling at the tinsel (thank goodness she doesnt eat that) and smacking her kittykat hanger that is on the lower branch.
As everyone else has said, cherish these memories now because they can become an arsenal for embarrassment later. LOL

Oh yes, the memories! I remember when my son was little (he's 21 now) and wanted to help decorate the tree for the first time. I gave him a box of non-breakable ornaments and let him have at it. I think he put about 25 ornaments on 1 branch. Mama did some strategic rearranging after he went to bed, LOL. And actually, I STILL have to keep breakable ornaments on the top half of the tree. My dog's tail is lethal to the glass ones.
Thanks for all your stories. Well my tree has now got no ornaments on the bottom half. I bought loads of new ones and they have all disappeared!! I have also found lots of interesting things in it like toy cars and socks...its forever being bashed about LOL.
