A thank you to two wonderfull people

Ever since i can remember i have always had a deep love of Christmas although i could never really put my finger on why. Until a few years ago!
I was looking back at some old home videos and there were lots of tapes of us as a family at Christmas, and then it hit me....its because of my parents!! As i watched the video i noticed how much effort my mum and dad put in to making Christmas such a special time for me and my brothers. The food, presents, decorations and just the amount of love that they gave us to make our Christmas as special as it could possibly be. Although my parents will probably never read this i just wanted to say a BIG thank you to my mum and dad for everything they did to make our Christmas time so perfect and i hope and pray that one day i can do the same for my children and instill a love of Christmas in them that they will always cherish.

Mum and Dad.....thank you xxx

Anyone who had parents that made Christmas special are very lucky indeed. I too had parents who always gave me their best at Christmas. And what goes around comes around, I also, along with my husband, gave our kids our best. And we see the fruits unfolding with our children as they give their children the best Christmas they can give.

That is really great to thank and honor your parents here. My parents really made Christmas and really all the holidays great for us kids when we were growing up and now are doing so for my kids. They always decorated really big, tried to give us as nice gifts as they could, baked a lot, and always just made the best out of the holiday for us. I am trying to do the same for my kids now. Thank you to my parents as well!

That's great! I am doing the same for my kids.... they love Christmas as much as me. I love that I helped mold their love for the holiday.

hi there am the same but in a different sort of way
it was my granma and my uncle that made them special for me
my dad was killed in a car accident 2 months befour i was born and mum moved back home that christmas
later she got married again and moved out out by that time my gran was so used to me about .that i ended up staying with her and my uncle
they made christmas so special for me. and think thats what makes me love it so much
the only one regret i have is that she did not live long enough for me to repay for for all she done for me as she died when i was 13
but my uncle is still there and i try to give heim everything he wants
