hi everyone
I agree with the other2 uk friends am in northern ireland and have never heard of decorating for autumn but it sounds good
Wood love to be able to do that. any photos wood be nice
Weather is not good there either. think we had about 6 days of really warm weather all summer
And now that september is in we have more rain and wind to look forward to
I do love the autumn as it starts to colder. colder than it usually is and the nights are getting shorter by halloween it will be dark at about 6 pm

I am about 95% done my "fall cleaning" (in summer, nonetheless!) so my house is nearly ready for fall decor! I just went to AC Moore to pick up some supplies for my next few fall projects.

I've mentioned my love of Pinterest before, (PM me with your email if you want an invite) so here are some projects I found on there that I am planning to do for fall!

I will be decorating for fall in the next couple of days. I will hang an autumn wreath on the front door. Switch out the Americana welcome mat for a fall themed one. I have a scarecrow that sits on a haybale and eventually we will put out several pumpkins on our around the porch and by our little flagpole rock garden. We will switch out the hanging flower baskets for mums. I don't have a small welcome flag...but I have my eye on one at the craft stores. They have the cutest Charlie Brown fall themed flags at Michaels and Hobby Lobby!

I have some fall window clings that I put on the back door and a Halloween doormat for the back door. Inside, I have some fall candles, leaves, and a few other knick knack and hanging fall signs that say Happy Harvest or other fall related things. We put out one fall village type house. I have a tea light village that stays out year round. It has a farmhouse, barn, lighthouse and church. My fall house is a little bigger, decked out for fall and lights up with electricity rather than tea lights.

New for this year...I have a set of 3 miniature pine trees for a dining table centerpiece. September decorations are apples, leaves, acorns and pinecones. Then, it will be switched to Halloween, then Harvest/Thanksgiving before finally getting decked out for Christmas.
