I really don't want to rush things. It's my favorite time of year and I want to savor every bit of it.

I just love that fact that I can say "I'm putting my tree up next month" as I build my tree on the 30th November so I can decorate it on the 1st DecemberAnd all of my Advent Cals and trees are put out on the night of the 30th as well

I like that comment "im putting my tree up next month" it sounds so much better than 8 weeks which feels like its some way off yet.

You guys are definitely gonna think I'm crazy as a loon; I put my tree up the 1st weekend in Nov. I've been doing that for several years now. With us working all the time I just want to be able to stretch it. Thanksgiving is a part of Christmas hear, in my family. The instant Thanksgiving is over, the major rush is on. I end up decorating for a week or more so if I did wait I'd be mere weeks from Christmas & that just won't do. I cherish each & everything I can the little time I have @ home & there's so much out there to see & do @ Christmas time. Wait am I trying to explain this to myself?"!%$#
anyhoo just saying....

I am so glad its getting that close to the holidays! This year has been a very long, hot (we had such a miserable warm summer) and exhausting year, looking forward to all the joy of the holiday season to recharge this year more than ever.

My favorite time is between Thanksgiving (Nov. 24th - New Years Day), the anticipation leading up to Christmas day the month before is such a joyous time! I usually put my tree up around Thanksgiving day.

I'm very excited that the first week of October is almost over. It seems like the month is going to go by quickly, which means I'll be putting up my tree soon after! I just love this time of year!!

Soccer and rugby league season is over for me. So, i am looking forward to the holiday season. I am already on holidays for school, but i will be missing out on a fair amount of school next term, because i will be travelling to different places for family reasons. I just know that next term will fly by, since i have exams and they go by so fast, because they take up the entire week. It's going to good.
