I got the maganavox from walmart last year for Christmas that is wifi enabled. There are two different ones: one that does Vudu (Walmart's online movie thing) and one that does Vudu, Blockbuster, Netflix.
While I agree with Jeff about the quality of Netflix (online movies do seriously blow for picture quality), I like the convenience of just being able to turn on my BluRay player and there's the three buttons:
I am not extremely techy when it comes to stereo components and all that stuff so for me it was the plug and play features of this BluRay player that made it so attractive.
Sounds like that thing Jeff has wouldn't be too hard to set up though!
I also just found out that Blockbuster partnered with Dish Network to provide their movies in streaming format so now I've got to figure out how to hook my Dish box to the internet as well! uuugh. I swear all this technology moves SO fast.
You're best bet is to get some college-aged computer nerd friend to come help you. Well, if you're anything like me then that's you best bet. But I do have my stubborn moments where I'll just mess around with something until I figure it out.
Looking forward to Christmas a little early this year.
