We went once for Halloween, they decorate all the parks, have trick or treating, people dress up in costumes (even adults) and have special fireworks, etc... Also, they have a spectacular halloween parade and the headless horseman is the most remarkable one I have ever seen.
Not to brag or anything but when i was a child my mother worked for disney so me being from maine n never seeing snow she took me there to see the disney world christmas, they had cinderella's castle all done up with lights and garlands and you go at night and all the lights are turned on and main streets all lit up..its really pretty then they have a parade where all the characters are dressed in christmas outfits and riding on christmas themed floats it's a nice thing for both kids and parents then after the parade it "florida" snows it's like frozen water type so yes i have been to disney during the holidays i would like to take my kds and husband back down to experince it

We were there last year between Christmas and New Years Day. All the decorations were still up, and they were spectacular! They actually start decorating in early November, so you could enjoy a Disney Christmas experience and still be at home or whereever on Christmas itself.

My husband and I went to Disney World in April, and had a wonderful time. I've never been during the Christmas season. My girlfriend and her family went a few years ago, and really enjoyed it. I would rather be at home for Christmas.
I understand how you feel, I fel the same way. We have been to Disney four times now and we were there in August.. Even though it was Hot, I loved every minute of it and cant wait to go back again. I really would love to go there at Christmas to see all the decorations, parades and special events, But I just cannot imagine not being at home with my family for Christmas.
I love Disney World at Christmas time. We haven't been there on Christmas Day, although we have been there the first week of December and it was amazing. The pipe Christmas music throughout the parks, there is snow on Main Street. It is a great time.
