Christmas TogetherWe're here year round and even though we are scattered all over the world and most of us have never met face-to-face we find ways to celebrate the season together. From our annual Christmas exchanges to scheduled chats our Christmasing together is discussed here.

I purchased a bunch of Bruins Stanley Cup championships attire for my dad. I bought my mom a crystal penguin figurine from Swaroski. And, I do believe that is about it. I may purchase my brother something fairly small, but neither of us have a whole lot of money.
As for Kim, I bought a gift certificate from the Apple Store to ensure that she could purchase her iPod Touch. Also, I am taking her out for dinner on Friday evening. I will more than likely purchase her flowers on Wednesday, too.
"The bells, the bows and the flashing lights, the mistletoes and the 'Silent Nights. It's all for show, but that's all right. That's not why I love this time of year..."

I've bought my mom a shredder, some ornaments, and a stand for her iPad.
I bought my brother a water bottle (this weird one that's glass inside and bamboo outside), a book, and this weird car charger thing that he wanted that I'm not really sure what it is.
I bought my boyfriend a set of four Beetles posters, PJs/slippers, and I'm making him a necklace out of glass beads that I'm going to make (need to get that one going RIGHT AWAY). I used to blow glass in college and I'm dragging out all my lampworking stuff to make him some beads. Hopefully I'll get it done in time.
These guys will all get stocking stuffers too. I've bought some of that stuff but not all. I'll also likely make them all pumpkin bread or cookies too.
I'm also donating a bunch of Soy baby formula and wet wipes to my friend who is visiting an African Orphanage next week.
I'm thinking about getting one of those angels off the angel tree because apparently not enough of them were taken care of this year...they've extended the deadlines.
Looking forward to Christmas a little early this year.

We haven't been buying gifts for each other for the last couple of years. My sister's step-daughter will be here this year, however, and we will be buying for her. She's at that awkward age (12) where you're not sure what to get, so I'm getting her some fancy socks, and I will tuck some money in each one.

homemade ornaments crafted from my dad's old sweater ( an item he is seen wearing in most pictures since my kids were small)
Dad has been gone now for 14 years, I still had the sweater so thought I would share a piece of memory with everyone
My hubby is getting a remote control helicopter (LOL) & Sirius radio in our truck.
My parents are getting (from all 7 of us - brothers & sisters) a new laptop, wireless printer, router, mouse & we are continuing their cleaning lady every other week for the next year.
My inlaws are getting a roll top for their Gator & maybe a kindle fire.
My friend Teresa is getting a Kindle 3G
My Godaughter is getting a storage drawer for K-cups to go under her new Keurig (that she doens't know she is getting yet from her parents)
My other Goddaughter is getting a gift cert to go out to eat & we are getting her sister a gift cert to the same restaurant (her sister gave us their treadmill & wouldn't take any $$$ for it) so they can go out to eat together w/ their hubby's & we will watch their kids.
A St. Nick Square Vet Center (village house) is going to my friend Nancy
That's all I can think of right now.
Christmas is not a time nor a season, but a state of mind. To cherish peace & goodwill, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas.
