Overview of the book from Barnes and Noble.com:

Lucy and Charlie's relationship has been on the rocks. With the newfound confidence that comes with her nursing career, Lucy doesn't need to put up with Charlie's nonsense anymore. But just as she's about to call it quits, a lost-looking teenager crosses her path. Seeing that the girl is sick and alone, Lucy takes her in despite Charlie's protests, in a move that could make or break their frayed relationship...

With a grown son embarking on his own life, and an ex-husband starting a new family, Betty realizes it's time to find a partner of her own. Then Santa bears an unexpected gift at the Rotary Club's Christmas party: himself. Has the holiday cheer gone to her head, or is she really attracted to a struggling magazine writer who plays dress- up? But things aren't always as they seem, especially in Cape Light-and unless Betty realizes that good things come in different packages, she risks Santa passing her by this Christmas.

I also just got done reading Something Borrowed by Emily Griffin.

It was a movie over the summer - very good. There is another book followed up behind this one that I always want to read. Here is the overview of this book:

Something Borrowed tells the story of Rachel, a young attorney living and working in Manhattan. Rachel has always been the consummate good girl---until her thirtieth birthday, when her best friend, Darcy, throws her a party. That night, after too many drinks, Rachel ends up in bed with Darcy's fiancé. Although she wakes up determined to put the one-night fling behind her, Rachel is horrified to discover that she has genuine feelings for the one guy she should run from. As the September wedding date nears, Rachel knows she has to make a choice. In doing so, she discovers that the lines between right and wrong can be blurry, endings aren't always neat, and sometimes you have to risk all to win true happiness. Something Borrowed is a phenomenal
debut novel that will have you laughing, crying, and calling your best friend.

I know some of us too we're talking the other day how to fight off the PCB's. Well, with reading "On Christmas Eve", I am finding that very helpful. I have downloaded free books to my nook that are Christmas related also.

I went onto Barnes and Noble, went to the Nook book section and just typed in "Christmas" and 5957 results! These are not all free though, as far as the Christmas ones go. Granted, I know they're not all good titles, but heck, that should keep us all set for awhile!

Some of mine are books I would like to read, but I do like to read a lot. It is one of my favorite past times. My friends call me a nerd but I think it's perfectly okay. I read a lot of chick lit, so some of it has no substance but I read some things that are serious literature

Picked up a book called "A Time Travel Christmas"
This novel includes
"The Christmas Portrait" by Megan Daniel,
"The Spirit of Things to Come" by Vivian Knight-Jenkins,
"The Ghost of Christmas Past" by Eugenia Riley,
and "Twelfth Night" by Flora Speer

Has anyone read it? Picked it up because of the title but have not had a chance to read it yet.
