light Starting Early

Awesom recipes that i have read so far. I am so hungry
I am looking to start some early baking and freezing things. My mom recently broke her leg and has had one surgery and maybe having another surgery, so we arn't sure if she will be cast free and healed for the holidays. I thought i could atleast do some stuff now as this will be the first time it will be all on me most likely, and we both had wanted to do baking for gifts. So anything i can do early will be a help to all of us,especially as that time draws near i will be focusing on finals Yah
If anyone has any great recipes that can be made ahead that you may know of would be so appreciated. I'm not a baker so i don't even know if this is to early. I noticed some great cookies and bread recipes and am hoping to be able to freeze the batter.
Sorry this is so lon guys

Hope to hear from some of you!!!
