whitexmas is a new face around here!
I do! On those cold snowy nights, there is nothing better than lighting some candles, and doing some holiday baking! I love being in the kitchen...and the smell of cinnamon, pumpkin, and chocolate fill the air! If i have to drive in it, then its another story, but for the most part, i love it!

I wish we could get the snow you are talking about. When I lived in Illinois I couldn't wait for the next day so I could get all bundled up and go play outside. If it were to snow like that here in AZ I would first take a walk in it, so I could light the fireplace to warm me up and curl up with a good book or a good movie and some hot chocolate (with marshmallows). I want snow, Please........

I have fonder memories of cold and snow when I was a child. Then I was toasty warm for the coal furnace kept our house very warm and my parents worried about it, not me.
Now I pay the oil bill, which I just got oil this week and for 150 gallons, the bill is almost $400 and if we have a very cold winter, most likely we will have to get heating oil 3 or 4 more times.

Not a fan of snow or winter cold. It's too dangerous, too expensive and too inconvenient.

I really would like to see Christmas moved to Sept. or Oct. Less danger in road travel (of course there's always danger but at least no snowy or icy roads). Easier to visit, no winter boots or coats. And outside decorations would not get covered up by ice and snow (sometimes that stops me from decorating because I know it will be covered up).

ME! ME! ME!
If it starts snowing early enough in the day I will get a big batch of chili going in the crock pot, a loaf of beer bread in the oven and do some baking as well all while listening to christmas music. I will bake cholocate chip cookies and either and applesauce or pumpkin spice cake.
I can not wait. Bring on the snow sooner then later!

I guess I'm in the minority here. I am not a fan of winter(except Christmas of course). I just can't seem to wrap my brain around the reason people like snow.

The pretty white glistening snow covers up the ugly ol brown grass & dead tree branches! Nothing like a fresh coat of snow when you wake up in the mornings to "make the world anew"....of course it turns to icky brown slush, but it's pretty while it lasts!!!

Billy........I am with you. I despise snow and cold; let me explain.

I used to live in Iowa for 35 years. I had my fill of snow, ice, and bone numbing sub zero temps. Thats one of the reasons we moved to Chandler AZ. If I ever have to be in snow and ice again, it will be too soon.

Its too bad that the greatest holiday ever has to be when weatherwise, its so miserable!

I would love to have a Snowy Winter Night. It just doesn't happen where I live! Wishful thinking.

I love cold snowy nights. I like to turn some outside lights on and watch the snow come down. I used to go out at midnight and shovel snow.
