That's wonderful to hear! I think any age can appreciate Chaplin. I think it's good to expose kids to a variety of film eras, so they don't get conditioned to believe that movies that are not wide-screen, color, and surround-sound are just "old stuff." When cable TV became king and killed the local "late-late shows" and Saturday and Sunday morning movies, kids lost a good chance to stumble upon and watch good (and even not-so-good, but so-much-fun) old classics. Mr. and I grew up on Laurel & Hardy, the Little Rascals, the Marx Brothers, the Blondie movies, Abbott & Costello, the Bowery Boys, and so many more that are hard to find today.

She thinks you're "old," I guess! "No, mommy isn't THAT old!"
