Every September I order 3 sets of personalized Christmas cards.

All of mine must say Merry Christmas, and I gravitate toward traditional religious, Kneeling Santa, and hometown U.S.A. themes. I also buy ones with cute kids and pets, or funny/sarcastic ones that I use as stationary through the season.

Oh, mine are personalized in 3 sets; one for family and close friends, another for my depolyed troops, and a third set for my my Internet friends.

I usually buy cards with a beautiful winter scene & I try to find them with a nice saying inside which includes a "Merry Christmas" & also good wishes for the New Year. I also try to find something with wishes about spending the holidays with family & friends.

I bought two boxes of religious cards at the Christian book store this year. One is a snow scene(mostly gray and white) with a church and "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you" (John 14:27) on the front. The other is a small card with a scene of Bethlehem and "In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind." (Job 12:10 NIV) on the front. I like snow scenes.
