For me Christmas seems official when I start to hear Christmas Carols on the radio. This is never consistent though. Here in Pittsburgh they have started anywhere from the first week of November to the day after Thanskgiving (Light Up Night). However, I always start Christmas the weekend before Thanksgiving and feel quite merry until the rest of the world catches up to me and, as the song says "steps into Christmas...."

I went to K-mart yesterday and they had a couple of aisles of Christmas things plus an area with Trees and outdoor decorations.

My local Walmart had slowly started putting out Christmas stuff in the Lawn and Garden section ever since Labor Day ended, but this last weekend, I went back to Walmart and discovered they had an endcap display of Christmas cards! These were the expensive Hallmark cards, and I'm holding out for the brand of cards that I like (and are cheaper) but man, it was sure nice to see new Christmas cards out on display!

Some of our local shops are getting out Christmas Decorations! I want to buy them all for my house! Can't wait for the millions of aisles at Walmart to get filled with Christmas!

Kmart and Walmart here, NC, have both started putting out there Christmas decorations.

I have watched the Santa Clause 4 times already this month!

Menards (lumber yard/home improvment type store) has started with their Christmas displays! Don't have the "Enchanted Forest" up yet with all the trees, but I'm sure it's coming. I can't wait to get to Wal-Mart this weekend and see what they've got out now, haven't been there in a few weeks.
