This year, I am really looking forward to Christmas this year. I think think I was a bit cheated from enjoying Christmas last year being diagnosed with breast cancer on December 20th. Since them I have been gone through surgery, chemotherapry and radiation therapy, and I am proud and happy to say that I have won and I am now on the road to recovery.

I am hosting my husband's family this Christmas Eve and I want it to be a lot of fun. I am starting my prep now (mostly because my energy level is still pretty low).

I will be once again, perusing the forum for great ideas and planning help.
Glad you are doing better Rachel. My wife had colon cancer 2 months after we got married so I know how difficult things can be. I hope you have a wonderful and healthy Christmas.

Lou

My mom died from breast cancer at 42 (I was 19 at the time), so anyone who can kick the Big "C" HARD in the nads, gets MY approval! Merry Christmas to ALL our survivors at MMC!

It sounds like you have so much to celebrate this year & to be thankful for! It made me smile to read your post, but saddened to hear you had to go through that! I'm glad you are on the road to recovery! How fun that you will be hosting Christmas Eve! Welcome back!!!
