The latest iteration of the 'Mistletoe Mix' for Merry Christmas made it's debut today, November 11, 2012. In fact it's on right now as I type this!
This show is a conglomeration and extension of my segments in Merry Podcast 21 & Merry Podcast 22.
Here's your contest mission:
This one will require that you go back and listen to MP# 21 and then tune in to MCR during 'Mistletoe Mix' during the current show's rotation on MCR.
In Merry Podcast 21, "The Christmas You've Never Heard", Marshall Crenshaw was in with a snippet of a cool cover of Bob Segar's "Sock It To Me Santa". In this edition of the Mistletoe Mix, Crenshaw is back with the full song!
Other than one was a fade out and the other was the full version, what is the difference? (Hint, the difference is right on the start of the "Sock It To Me Santa" before any lyrics are sung.)
The first poster here in this thread with the correct answer wins CD copies of all my 'Mistletoe Mix' shows for the last two years! It's not the best of prizes for the work you'll have to do to win, but hey, listeners to Merry Christmas Radio are already winners!
