stocking Merry Christmas, my friends!!

Hello, dear friends!!

How are you?

It's been too long once again, and I miss you all immensely!!!!
(Let's get this straight, one day is too long )

Hope you guys had a very Happy Thanksgiving!!

I've been sick since the day before, and have been trying to lose this virus ever since.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you all decked the halls?! Please tell me about your decorations!
I have really missed all of the decorating, addressing Christmas cards, baking, etc. All of the magical things we should be doing at this most wonderful time of the year!

Adrian & I are doing pretty well. He is actually away on his last business trip before the move. It's coming upon us pretty quick. We will leave Las Vegas at the end of December. Yikes.

I went back to Wisconsin @ November, and found a townhouse for us to rent. It's really lovely & even bigger than our house right now. It's in a brand new development, right outside of town. It's only a half of a mile away from the mall, grocery stores, movie theaters, and anything we will need. But, still far enough away from the hustle & bustle. And, there's a beautiful farm right across the highway, with a gorgeous red barn =] Ahh, I've missed those! There's no fenced yard, which is a bummer for Harlowe, but we have a deck & a patio for her to hang out on with us. And it has a big floor to ceiling window in the living room, with a window seat, that she'll adore looking out into the neighborhood through. And, the community has sidewalks throughout for us to walk her on, and a little pond area w/ benches. She'll love chasing the ducks and birds!

Other than that, I've been trying to keep up on my real estate course, but it's been taking a back seat to resting & packing. Next up on our agenda is trading in our car & truck for a smaller SUV for me. Any suggestions??
I hear the Toyota Rav-4 is great, and the Honda Pilot. We will go looking next week. Better make sure it has good winter tires for all of that snow!

Adrian & his buddy will be driving the U-Haul, and Harlowe & I will be following behind.

Harlowe is doing well, and she sends hugs, btw.

What have you & your families been up to? What fun Christmas traditions have you been partaking in?

Please update me with what's been going on in your lives when you have a chance! I so miss hearing about your lives on a regular basis. I figured with all of our moving chaos right now, it'd be easier to start a thread here than to check back on and keep up on the countdown.

Seasons greetings & lots of love being sent your way.

I miss you all, and wish you a very merry & wonderful Christmas!!

XO,
Stacey

So, I guess I have my answer about you guys moving! I wasn't sure when you guys were actually moving. Good luck with the move. I know it's very stressful. Just keep calm and doing what your doing. It sounds like you're on the right track.

As for what I didn't already tell you earlier, we are all decorated except for a few things outside. DH is actually going to finish that in the am. For me who loves Christmas so much, it is really hard for me to not have my lights up. He takes of that part though and he has been really busy though, so I can't ask for much. He works so hard, so I am trying to not get too upset about it!

We just finished up with EA's last Christmas parade on Friday night - she made been marching with the baton girls. She loves it. I am not sure when parades or events will start up again. She will still take classes every Tuesday. I am glad to see her have so much fun doing something.

Ella is doing well as well - she will be 7 in April and you would think she is still a pup - she still acts like one. She is get white/grey around the nose/face area, but she is still a baby heart.

God Bless and I have missed talking to you! I've been busy as well and my laptop has been acting up. We're going to get a new one after the holidays. I haven't been on here as much as I would like either. Miss you!

Thank you, sugar!! xo

I bet your Christmas decorations are beautiful!!

That's wonderful that EA is having so much fun w/ marching. I bet you are so proud to see her in action!!

I love that Ella is getting white in the face, that's so cute when that happens. I'm sure Harlowe will be seeing that too in a few years. Please give her a hug for us.

Hope you get everything situated w/ your laptop soon. I know the feeling- Adrian has ours right now, and the desktop sometimes gives me trouble looging on. We'll see what happens. I did just get a new phone, and got the tapatalk application. You use that, right? Is it easy? I'm still learning it all.

So great to hear from you, friend.

Merry Christmas!!!!!!!

Hey there!!! It's good to see you!!!!!

I've been battling bronchitis since right before Thanksgiving. I'm over most of it but I can't seem to get rid of the cough.

Being sick has affected my decorations. I only have 22 of my Santa's out instead of the normal 100. I also haven't got my outdoor decorations out yet.

It's good to hear that you found a place to live and I can't wait to see a picture of that barn!!!!!

Good Luck with the car shopping!!

Life around here has been pretty boring. Everyone has been sick so there hasn't been a whole lot of celebrating going on. We did manage to go out shopping on black Friday for a while and then again today. So I'm at least done with my Christmas shopping now.

Friday is our Christmas parade in downtown so we will see how everyone feels closer to time before we make up our minds whether to go or not.

Tappatalk is easy to use. You shouldn't have any problems figuring it out.

It is so great to hear from you !!! I have missed you so !!

Not much going on here. Work, rest, watch Christmas on TV.....same old, same old which is fine. Wish is doing well still. Hermione turned 1 year old on November 23 but she is still VERY MUCH a puppy in her mind.

I see a rheumatologist tomorrow (Tuesday, December 4) because my PCP says I have psoriatic arthritis. There is a lot of pain involved with my fingers and toes and such and I am hoping they can find a solution so I can function better with less pain.

I went to my sister's house this past weekend for our annual put up her tree and Christmas shopping. It was such fun.

So glad you found a place to live. That has to be one of the big hurdles.....I am glad little Harlowe is doing well.

Take care, my dear friend and write soon !!! xoxo

Hey there girly!!!! We sure have been missing you! your new place sounds fab & i bet Harlowe is gonna love the big window & the pond, just don't let those ducks hurt that baby, lol.

i hate to hear you've been sick in addition to everything else you have going on. what is it about the winter that has everyone getting sick?

i know your family is in Wisconsin but is your hubby's family there also?

you were asking about the Rav 4 & Honda Pilot; a couple years ago i was looking @ the Rav 4 & i really liked it but @ that time it didn't offer many extras, it was very standard. i'm not sure if you're into all the extras though. the Honda Pilot is nice, i think it has a bit more room. that was what prevented me from getting the Rav 4, i needed something bigger than that for my family. i am sure you'll make the best decision for what you guys need.

i decorated the 1st of November & have been uber busy @ work till now. looking forward to time baking, shopping, & being w/ the family.
i bought the new Rod Stewart Christmas CD. it's pretty smooth but i must admit i still love the Michael Buble' best.

you take care of yourself sweety & remember we love you & think of you every day. please give that sweet little Harlowe a big hug from us! God bless & keep you!

Wow! I thought we were busy! Sounds like you have a lot going on. So good to see you pop in!

Wayne and I have been busy doing lots of Merry Things! We went to Houston to see Paul McCartney mid November. Then, of course, had a wonderful Thanksgiving with the family. The next day we went to San Antonio and stayed on the Riverwalk. We got a balcony room overlooking the Riverwalk and watched the Riverwalk Christmas Parade. We have Six Flags season passes and have been going to Holiday in the Park. So much to do, so little time but we are having so much fun!

By the way, I highly recommend Toyota! My parents bought a brand new one back in 2003, they still have it and it's the best vehicle they ever owned. Wayne and I bought one this year and so far it's been great. Everyone we have spoke to that own one and/or mechanic friends we know highly recommend it. Let us know what you decide.

Good luck with your real estate course!

Hope to hear from you more often!
