My Dog Sam
Dear Abby, I too was picked on when I was a child and I too turned to our dog Queenie. She always gave me love and she always listened. Bless you.
Slowly but surely decorating the tree. Putting ornaments on as the spirit moves me lol.
I know the feeling. We put the tree up yesterday, but it is not fully decorated. It will get there, soon, but on our schedule, which is a bit slower this year.
Not sure what it was, but we were knocked-out yesterday. Lots of hustling and bustling from Tuesday to Thursday, with Thanksgiving and lots of time with family and friends. So, putting the tree up was the extent of yesterday's work. Today, probably some ornaments and garland.
With Thanksgiving being so early this year, maybe we feel we have a bit more time to get the tree up. Either way, it will certainly be ready by Dec 1st, when the Season goes into hyper-drive!

An update since I posted last. My husband and I have finished decorating today. Everything looks beautiful. Now, I can take my time, finish wrapping presents, writing Christmas cards, and doing my holiday baking.

Even though I don't plan to do too much, the season is still flying by as I knew it would. I was deeply in the Christmas spirit but have slipped and am trying to perk up again. My baby is only 21 months so we can still slide by this year with no tree or decorations. My main thing at this point is lots of new toys for her. The baking and decorating etc that I planned to do will have to be picked up next year. I'm hoping I get back into the spirit though.

We got a Christmas tree at the university on Friday and my landlord decorated a tree in the living room last night. It looks beautiful! And it feels that spirit of the Holiday is getting closer and closer. I love it! :]

Our tree and most of the decorations went up over the weekend. The tree is amazing! I need to add some decorations to it and perhaps some more lights.
I have also finished up most of what I needed to get done around the house. I still have cards to write, gifts to buy, wrapping and not to mention my husband's birthday on Friday. I still feel like it's going to fast so I am doing my best to take time to enjoy everything. Last weekend we visited the christmas market and it was lovely. It was really busy though so couldn't nosy as much as I would have liked too.
