Celebrity Dead Pool 2013

We have a habit of noting celebrity passages each year here on the Merry Forums. This year I'd like to share a personal New Year's tradition as a morbid bit of fun for us here -- a celebrity deal pool! This is something I've done as a New Year's Day tradition for years (see this year's post).

What is a celebrity dead pool? It is where we predict which celebrities will -- ahem -- go to the great beyond in the year ahead.

Yeah, it's sick. Sure, it's twisted.

But I assure you it is in good, clean, harmless fun. If you don't like this, don't participate. We are not trying to offend and we certainly don't wish any ill towards any of the people we prognosticate. We figure this is just one small price they pay for their celebrity and a great way to look at the new year ahead.

So between New Year's Day and January 12th you can list your ten candidates to kick the bucket in 2013. After the 12th I'll lock the thread then we'll come back to it next New Year's day to see who predicted the most.

Weird, I had a dream last night that I heard on the news Mick Jagger had passed.

It would be sad to see Mickey Rooney go any year. But it would be especially tragic to lose him the year he is inducted into the Santa Claus Hall of Fame.
