There wasn't to many houses decorated around my town this year. And I actually just took my tree down yesterday. Thank goodness it's "fake" or I'd have pine needles everywhere!!

There are still 2 houses in my area that have Christmas lights. My wreath is still on my door. I know my Mom and Daughter-in-law have their Christmas tree still up! I say "YAY" to that!

I never took a literal count, just kind of a tip of my hat to the ones who still have them on.

That's one reason I leave mine up so long, for people who do this very thing - look for lights still on while driving. Mine are still up but not on.

You never know though, I might just go turn them on tomorrow, or maybe the next night . . . . . . or the next . . . . . or . . . ..

I have to say there isn't a sign of Christmas anywhere around me now. Just Gloomy January dark nights. Roll on next Christmas. Heck I'd even take some bright summer nights.

I counted 39 houses with Christmas lights still on driving home tonight, that is only a 12 mile trip. It is down from the 160+ I counted the Wednesday before Christmas on the same trip. 39 is still pretty good for Jan. 9.

I saw one house on my way home with their lights still on and was very happily surprised.

I said "way to keep Christmas alive, folks!"

So funny, I thought I was the only one that did this..
Well on my way home yesterday I counted 31 houses with Christmas lights still lit, though it is a 30 mile commute. Still, I thought that was a pretty good number for Jan 10!
