The Shifter Freight
Similar to the contents of TYCO's Diesel Flyer train set, The Shifter Freight offered a steam loco rather than diesel powered train. The Shifter Freight train set featured a Santa Fe 0-4-0 Shifter Steam Loco (#238); a green Western Maryland 40' Flat with 3-Tractors; an orange New Haven 50' Box Car; a black Reading 40' Hopper Car; and a red Santa Fe streamline Caboose. The set also provided enough track to create a 36" circle layout ran by TYCO's standard 1-amp power pack.
Boy, would I love to find an unopened set again!
