Have a blessed day everyone.
Sounds like a wonderful weekend, mgramsey!! Enjoy your snow, and have a great week!!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

The kids are out of school today, and Nancy and I are working. It's been downright cold this weekend, and we even had a little sleet Saturday morning. There was a thick coat of ice on my truck this morning, so I was a little late for work.

I hope y'all have a great day!

Thank you! We love it and the kids talk about it all year until our next visit rolls around.

I am also excited because we're going to this place:

http://www.chophouseburgers.com/

I saw it on "Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives," and they mix smoked brisket in with their ground beef on the burgers. Okay...I have to stop now or I'll keep going...but I think I'm most excited about the food...and seeing my little ones have so much fun.

One of the best snacks is Spanish peanuts poured into a bottle of Pepsi. What childhood memories!

So funny. That plot line sounds hilarious! Going to the moon, LOL!

Something about his being mistaken for a murderer, then he and another murderer are spared if they agree to go to the moon in an experimental rocketship. There was a hilarious moment when someone whispers something in Keaton's ear warning him of the danger of landing on the moon, and he responds in English, "Oh, the h--- with it!" We also have an English-dubbed video of it somewhere---we'll watch that sometime and figure out the parts we couldn't understand.

Of course, they don't actually wind up on the moon, but they THINK they do. Confusion and hilarity reign ... it's not a great film, but it was fun. It was an international evening. We also watched Laurel & Hardy speaking German, and British an Italian documentaries about L&H.
