Lots of my friends jokingly call me 'Mr Christmas' (I have the tshirt that I wear all year round - that gets you some funny looks as well!) and know I'm rather Christmas bonkers... When I tell other people about running a Christmas site, the first question I normally get is "how much do you make off that?" When I answer NOTHING, that really gets some interesting reactions - but I get to spread some Christmas cheer to them

My kids and In-laws know I'm here on MMC and they just get a chuckle at me, and the things I do because they all know how much I love Christmas, so their not too suprised. Some people at work know that I love Christmas and am into everything about it, so they're not suprised when every once and awhile one of them will see that I have MMC up on my screen.

Every once and awhile, the guy I sit next to, looks over and asks me, are you listening to Christmas music? "Yuppers".... After 3 years of sitting next to him, he's gotten used to it. However he has told me that I am the very first person that he has ever met (as an adult), that listens to Christmas music, watches videos and surfs the net looking at Christmas related things, throughout the year!

I have always been a little different in regards to the way I celebrate and enjoy Christmas and the entire Holiday season. What can I say, I just Love it! I'm deeply happy inside that have found other people that feel and talk about Christmas, the same way I do. Granted, we have never met, and our relationships may be different, but I have made alot of friends here and some you have become very special friends to me here as well. Hopefully, one day, somehow, someway, I hope to find some point in life that we can finially meet. We are all of the same kindred spirit.....
I agree totally !!! As I said before when it comes to Christmas, even though we may totally disagree on other stuff, our hearts beat as one...xo

It's not something I talk about. My wife already thinks my year-round love of Christmas is weird. MMC is a way for me to read about other people's love of the holiday and share mine. The discussions on here are great because there's a wide variety of opinions and perspectives. Maybe it's weird, but it's a fun weird.

I tell Brandi and she knows full well how I am about the holidays. If she thinks I am weird she has not told me to my face same goes form my family..now friends and especially co-workers I don't tell mostly because I am a private person in general. But would I care.nah not really; no one would dare tell me to my face I am wierd, I would not care anyways the older I get the less I care!

Nobody has expressed anything about me being weird for being here. They all know I love Christmas and I talk about this forum and my online friends from MMC all the time to people. If they thought I was weird, I could care less!

Maybe my friends are already all weird so this type of online activity seems normal to them!

DH and my immediate family knows. No one, except my sister thinks it's weird. She thinks my love for Christmas is over the top and I spend too much on the site.

Other than that, I don't know if I have ever told anyone else. I wouldn't be ashamed at all though. I love this site and the people here.

You know, I've been thinking about this thread a lot of the past day or two. I guess I'm blessed that my family is always so supportive of me and my wife really loves Christmas, too.

But if you think about it, we all have our quirks. Some people live for deer season, some live for football season, some live for golf season, some live for gardening season.

We all pull our own happiness wagon. If this is what makes us happy, then so be it. If this makes us weird, so be it. But if I tell you to kiss where the sun don't shine, so be it. This is one of my escapes, one of my stress relievers. While it might not be what others think is normal, I don't see what the point is in going out and hitting a little white ball all over a golf course, getting drunk, and acting a fool.

This is us, this is who we are, and that's all right.
