Take the picture now, Tim. Save you the trouble later.
(Actually, you know I'm a closet Astros fan, don't you? They have had a soft spot in my heart since the days of Mike Scott, that wonderful, cheating cut fastball expert that stymied the Giants so often.)
Now, everybody knows that was a split finger fastball. Heh heh heh.
Shades of Gaylord Perry!

The Mets will be the best team in NY, which is not saying much. I am not too sure on whom is playing where but I think Oakland, Detroit, San Fran, Texas, LA and Baltimore will be the ones that will be fighting out at the close of the season.

Really tough year to pick the A.L. East, it really is tight race to pick them, but I had to give some love to my Red Sox. I think they can win the division, but as a pessimistic Boston sports fan I don't want to give it to them. (yet)
I like the Nats in the NL, but I could see Cincy easily taking the title instead. It is tough to repeat for SF, and I really can't cheer for the west coast Yankees aka Dodgers.

I could see the Sox putting together some magic. They're due, considering the last couple of years. I agree with you on Cincy. But the Dodgers are thinner than their payroll dollars make them appear. They had Uribe batting fifth tonight.
The Sox have a lot of great pieces, hard working guys so I am pumped to see how the year pans out. At least there will be less drama.
I will enjoy watching the Dodgers fall apart like the Marlins of last year. Ditto for the falling apart Yanks.
Christmas or bust!!!
