I heard some stories about my dad that I hadn't heard, and it's nice to know that he was loved and remembered affectionately by so many. One former neighbor told me he came to her house to play Santa Claus for her children one Christmas, and that he was the best Santa she had ever seen. I was too young to remember, because that happened the year I was born, but I have two photos of him in his costume. I also recalled the wonderful outdoor Christmas display he built from scratch out of wood---a huge lighted lectern with a Bible on it, open to the Christmas verses in Luke. We only had it one season because we moved the next year, but it was a beautiful sight. So there was a little Christmas shared today.

Glad things went well for you, what a great picture.

Good evening,

JP's birthday went well today, the only problem is he can't handle the anticipation. He was a mess, crying, whining, and so on. He finally pulled himself together by noon, and the party was at 2. I am so tired tonight, but relaxed knowing I have the next week off. I have been addicted to playing bowling on my Kindle, when I have a few minutes I try to "roll" ten frames as quick as I can. Just watching the Bruins take on the Hurricanes now, and we will get the kids to bed soon.

Good night all.

That's a great point...

I know it has only been a week since CM3 passed away but does anyone know what caused her death? I know she would talk about going to the doctor and not feeling well, but she was not old at all. Hope everyone is having a good night.
