I know this because Mr. was terminated some years ago for a health issue that required a couple months' recuperation, during which he couldn't do the work he was hired for. So they dumped him. We were going to take the employer to court until our lawyer explained the facts to us. It was a tough time.

This is slightly off-topic, but it still makes me seethe. When I was diagnosed with cancer in the 1980s, I had to immediately undergo a week's worth of tests at various medical centers to "stage" the cancer so doctors could plan its treatment, so I was away from the office for that workweek. When I got back, my boss's boss sat me down and said, "You know, we could terminate you for being absent more than three days without prior approval." I HAD notified them where I was and why. They didn't terminate me, but I was aghast at their tactlessness when I was still struggling with the diagnosis of a life-threatening disease. And they made me use vacation time for chemo days. Some people ...
That is infuriating & just plain wrong. Morally unacceptable. Sorry you went through that.

Sorry that Brandi had a rough day. Sounds like you're taking extra good care of her tonight. Hope you guys can have a relaxing evening & unwind. Tomorrow will be better!!

Dawg, I hope your evening w/ wifey is nice & she feels better.

everyone of y'all, thanks so much for your kind thoughtful words. I know I say it all the time but you guys are wonderful & amazing & so precious to me.

Merryc, I'm so sorry you had to endure that treatment during such a vulnerable time, God bless you friend!

I'll admit, some things that were said to me hurt & shocked me, but I will be ok. Maybe she was just getting her point across.

We just got through eating our dinner it was so good and we both can barely keep our eyes open. I really hate to turn in before dark but we just might tonight. One of us will be getting up around midnight anyways with the boys. So I guess I will signoff here..Just wanted to tell those of you who are going through trials and tribulations that I have you in my prayers and things will get better. Those that are sick I hope you pull through as well. Goodnight Christmas buddies!

Ahh Christmasstar,I wish I could tell you what to do. When I spilled chocolate milk on my laptop I had to take it to a computer store to have them restore it and basically put new keys on it. I hope someone can give you some advice and I hope it's not damaged!

Do you have a hair dryer with a cool setting? You can try using it to dry it out. Or a can of compressed air.

Do the keys seem to be sticking and not going down or are they going down fine and just not working?
