half way to Christmas? Are you all sure of this?

There are 359 days till Christmas from January 1st, that makes the 1/2 way point at day 179.5 which is actually on the 28th of June at noon.

I know, does not make sense but it is true
add up # of days each month to Dec 25...
Jan 31
Feb 28
mar 31
april 30
may 31
june 30
july 31
Aug 31
sept 30
oct 31
nov 30
dec 25
adds up to 359
divide that in half and it equals 179.5
and that is June 28th at noon

IF you're starting from January 1st... most people start December 26th, whic makes it 365 days until Christmas (366 in a Leap Year)... half of that is 182.5... or July 2nd (at noon)... but, I think for the sake of argument, everyone here is going by the "June is halfway through the year, so June 25th is halfway to December 25th" theory...

Either way, Christmas is fun, math is HARD!

Those folks in the House/Senate don't let the math bother them in the completion of their serious business. If it doesn't trouble them, then I see no reason to let it suck the joy out of our fun.
