Why? There is nothing wrong with the original. In fact, I've never seen the Jim Carey version for much the same reason. I know I'm not being fair. Maybe this year.

This is one of the movies that shouldnt be touched. But they those people did do a great job with bringing Horton Hears a Who a nice modern twist, so it might be worth a shot.

I grew up with both the special and the Ron Howard-Jim Carrey movie, since it came out when I was young, it was good when I was young, not so much now. I hope they can do better this time.

I'll give this a shot but nothing beats the original! I absolutely hated the movie version with Jim Carrey.
