We were at a meeting and in the next room they had a local woodcarver's guild meeting. They were all carving and had items out. So, when we got a break we went to look. We fell in love with an intricate Santa carving. We pooled our cash and to put a final point on the story, Santa now lives with us. He is pretty cool though.

I picked up large individual letters that spell out NOEL at JoAnn Fabrics and am deciding whether to paint them in red, white and green or leave them the color they are which is brown like craft paper. I love that it's such a bold way to put it out there with the big letters you can't miss! LOL...as if anyone would miss knowing we celebrate Christmas at this house!!
