Well the time for bed has come, it was a rather productive evening, I came up with an impromptu chili for dinner. I didn't have my usual ingredients to make my normal recipe so I used what I had in the cabinets, a jar of spaghetti sauce, can of kidney beans, ground turkey, salsa, habanero sauce, and spices and I had a nice fire breathing chili. Surprisingly very good!

Good night, all!

sounds good but I would have to take some major nexium after eating something that spicey. I miss being young enough to eat what I wanted without worries of heartburn! but that does sound really good,I think I am going to head to the kitchen for a evening snack now.

I had a hectic weekend working on my part-time business, but I think I'm caught up for a couple weeks. I came to work this morning hoping for a break, but then two consulting engineers on two different jobs called to drop monkey-wrenches in my two largest, current jobs. No offense to you, Xmastidings, but consulting engineers drive me bananas! LOL

I hope y'all have a great day!
Let me help you with that quote, you mean bad consulting engineers drive you bananas.....

Consulting engineers are supposed to offer solutions to problems (mostly have a good design that avoid problems) and yet also provide a service with a cost savings mindset for the owner. Tell you what, the next time you guys need a good/ experienced MEP Engineering firm, give me a call, I'll make a road trip to Georgia. Or better yet, if you have an IDIQ that you want an outside engineering service to bid on, here you go, the solution is at hand, no more problems there mate...

Good luck in your endeavors with them, I sure hope that your projects and the path that they take, become a little bit more smoother~

Oh yea, I'm right with you on that. Why is it, that chili always hits the spot just right?

Good Morning!
How is everyone and how was your weekend?

It was a three day weekend here I can't believe how quickly it went by. On saturday we visited a wild animal park. The park is really interactive and you can get quite close to the animals. Needless to say we really enjoyed our vsit! There were Lemurs and Monkeys roaming about.

On Sunday we decided to go to car racing instead of Whitby. It was the Gold Cup and there was also a couple tours and demonstrations so it was a fun event. In a male dominated house like ours I've gotten used to the boys getting their way lol.

Yesterday we just had an easy day. We watched the new GI Joe and played board games and recovered from a very busy weekend.

I doubt I will be able to catch up on all that I have missed on here over the last three days! I hope I haven't missed anything important. I hope everyone is doing well and having a great start to the week!
