Yep! They're starting already! - I saw my first Christmas commercials (yes, commercialS!) in the last few days. One was for an annual local Christmas lighting event, and one was for K-Mart layaway featuring a gingerbread man. Woot-woot!
The Werther's Caramel commercials with the little girl going into the candy shop, have been playing for a while now too, and although, not "technically" a Christmas commercial, it always reminds me of one.

I haven't seen any officially but I have seen negative comments..mostly on Face Book from people who have seen them. It's a different perspective I guess. There are people who feel that it's 'commercializing' Christmas and just a way to try and sell us more unwanted "stuff".

This isn't a TV commercial---but I was happy to see banners advertising the Boston Pops' holiday concerts and The Nutcracker on Boston.com this morning! Those are two signs that the season is approaching.
