If they still played the commercial i guess people's heads would explode because they actually play christmas music and have christmassy scenes. Omg!

Christmas commercial blast from the past!!!!
I used to love those commercials, and looked forward to them every year, and when I was finally old enough, I ordered those CDs. To this day, they are some of my faves.

Thanks for starting up this thread! I didn't think we'd see it till closer to the end of September, but hey, if people are seeing Christmas commercials on TV now, great!

I'm only a few hours from there, so it's a popular weekend-getaway place where I live. I'm sure this is regional and not a nationwide campaign. But it is showing on the big network stations.
That's funny, I live just north of Branson, and I'm not seeing that commercial yet. It must be aimed at those in nearby states. Is it the commercial playing Andy Williams "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year"? I love that one - they do eventually start airing that around late October/early November around here...

Are any of these on Youtube by chance?!?

No, it's not the Andy Williams one. I think they show that one around here too, but that is usually in the Nov/Dec time frame.

The one I have been seeing is for "Miracle of Christmas", I believe.

It does kick the warm fuzzies meter up several notches. This past weekend they added a Countdown to Christmas ribbon to the during program ad cycle.

Time-Life Christmas Treasury Ad: Watched the one on YouTube, but there was a better one with snow, electric trains, etc. that ran for several years. I hunted for it on YouTube to no avail. Does anyone know a site that has it?

P.S. While doing the YouTube search, I found a German TV ad for Disney Cinemagic showing "The Santa Clause" & "The Santa Clause 2" that's fun to watch.

I saw the Pillsbury one this morning for the first time. Looks to be an updated version of the old one.

I don't know if you could be talking about the one in this video..?..? This video has 4 or 5 commercials in it, the Time-Life one starts @ 2:19.

I guess THIS is the KMart commercial that others were referring to earlier in this thread (I'm just now discovering it):

I absolutely love it!

And here's a segment on ABC News with people complaining:

EDIT: And now I've gotten the videos working (sorry!)

It wasn´t really a Christmas commercial yet...but it comes close......Yesterday I saw a commercial for baking magarine.....for baking cookies.....they were talking about Plätzchen (cookies)....and usually Germans say Kekse for cookies....unless they talk about Christmas cookies....then they say Plätzchen
