Good Lunch Time My most favourite MMC Gang!

How are you doing?

Can't believe it is monday already. Why are the weekends always over much too soon? I was much to lazy this weekend and didn't get half of the planned stuff done. I was too caught up in "Fall of Giants" by Ken Follett.

Anyway I try to stay on top of my work load today and looking forward to my evening. Tonight I won't say up long as I didn't sleep very well last night.

I think all of us feel the same about MMC. I used to think I was the only one that loved Christmas as much as I do! It is so nice to be able to talk to people each day of the week who are of like minds!
Crossing Lines is a joint project of the German TV station Sat1, the French TV station TF1 and NBC. In europe the show got very good ratings. On NBC it only run during the summer break and I think therefore the ratings weren't that good. As far as I know the first season will be shown on two Canadian tv stations in the fall line-up. I'm not sure if NBC will work on the second season, as they are not satisfied with the ratings. Anyway there just has to be a second season!

The show centers around a special investigation team from the ICC. Each team member from another european country (besides one) police organisation.

Wiliam Fichtner from Prison Break is playing one of the characters. I never watched Prison Break and didn't know this actor before. But he became my favourite character in the show (with former IRA terrorist turned police officer) and he is such a great actor. On top of that he is just hot (eventhough he is wayyyyyyy to old for me). And Donald Sutherland plays the big boss in the show.

I also ordered the first season of Homeland. In Germany and Switzerland the second season is running at the moment. But the time frame is stupid. I heard from friends, that this show is amazing and want to give it a try.

I mean I do think about her everyday but the thought that she won't be here for us to share it kind of just smacked me in the face just now. I know everyone here misses her but it's really sinking in with me that she really is gone. The first Holiday after a loved one has passed are always the hardest I know from when my Dad died. I hate to bring it up because I don't really want to bring the atmosphere down. It just don't seem right that she is not here talking about her furbabies well I will talk to yall soon as I get home and situated!
Made and the others have already written such eloquent posts, that I just wanted to say that I know how you feel.

Do those stores have an online shop?

So Friday I went to the nearest Hallmark store saw 4 candles an went merrily to the counter to purchase them only to find out they do not "honor" those coupons. after arguing with the 19 year twits about 10 minutes I left and then went to the Cracker Barrel and they said the same thing until I talked to the manager who then talked to his district manager who then talked to his regional manager who finally said just honor them and give me a $50 gift card from the cracker barrel. I know a lot of you are asking why I didn't just go to the nearest Yankee Candle factory store which is what I was going to do if push came to shove....it's because it's an hour drive from where I live I do wish the stores that sold yankee candles and the company itself would work on the same page, they are too expensive for me to by unless they are on sale. I wait all year for that promo too! I have to really watch myself or I could spend thousands of bucks on their candles. I ended up getting Pumpkin spice...Apple pumpkin....Autumn Wreath... and trick or treat! Well sorry for the rant just wanted to tell of my experience! Have a good morning everyone!
I can only afford to buy the yankee candle samplers. Everything els is way to expensive. I just lit up the Autumn Wreath, love the scent!

loool I was thinking the same thing yesterday evening. Typical!! Did you watch NCIS LA as well? I completely lost track on both shows as I missed many episodes lately.

I mean they don't even remember before the internet!!! We had a great time sight seeing and all but my energy level is not what it was when I was 23. I'm in great shape and try to make it to the gym 3 days a week, but even still there is still a big difference. I am about to drop face down in the floor and they are talking about going to the movies tonight. I bet they are whispering in the next room about the"old man" brandi married.lol Yeah so I know I am being dramatic but it's just so funny how time flies by and before you know it your not one of the lucky ones that just jumps out of bed looking fabulous anymore. We are at the age where you have to actually work at looking presentable!!! Anyway I am staying home with the boys and we are going to have a great time watching "Christmas vacation" and bro in law and sis in law and Brandi are going to the movies...I am actually looking forward to work tomorrow!!! I hope everyone has had a great Sunday!
Looool this sounded so funny. I'm the youngest in my team (I'm 26 years old) and some of my co-workers often think they are old too, when we talk about music or things like that. Like when I tell them that I listened to a certain song during my high school.

What should I do then? I'm having this problem all year long with every kind of chocolate! And I can't blame it on a pregnancy either. On the other hand, I'm still 26 years old, so my body should still be able to bear it.

Age is something me and her never think about we have so much in common. I just wanted to correct the error. I am 15 years older than her youngest sister!!!! Have a great night everyone I will still pop in after the movie us boys are going to watch...(mainly just me)lol
I don't think age matters. As long as the two of you fit so well together why worrying about the age?

I have been wanting that scent for years!!!!

I can't wait to give it a sniff test.
Uh ohh, I can't image how this can smell nice. Guess it's because I'm Swiss.

Anyway I'm happy you like the scent.

Good Morning, New Week Friends and Home Stretch Anticipators!

Yes Folks, the anticipation is building at a faster rate than you might expect.
(Better check on those stats before things get away from us!)
Days to the Season: 44
Days to Christmas Day: 86

One week from today, Friends.
The 90 percent mark to the Season.
(It really just doesn't seem possible we could be at this point so soon!)

Still cool and comfortable.
Almost too cool in the mornings really, but truly nice by the afternoon.
It is predicted to get gradually warmer during the week and we should return to at least the low 80's at some point.
We have begun the new week at 55 degrees here in the capital city.

Have a Marvelous Monday, Everybody.
Hope your week is off to a great start!

It can't possibly be Monday morning again! You know what is cruel? When you dream it is a Saturday morning an then the alarm wakes you up to a cold Monday morning! Well at least it's autumn now and the last day of September! That is good news! I am about to eat breakfast of some leftover ham that has to be eaten up and I am the only one in the house that is eating ham and left over potato salad.(yummy breakfast)! Have a great drive to work this early Monday morning everyone!
