We usually start buying our outdoor lighting as soon as it hits the shelves in early October. The outside lights start going up the day before thanksgiving and usually takes a couple of days. The tree and inside decorations start on thanksgiving afternoon. That's been our tradition ever since our boys were little.

I´m playing with the idea of decorating earlier this year...maybe the first week of November....I´m not sure about that yet.....tomorrow I will clean the house...and maybe the windows already, so they will be ready for window christmas pictures.....if that is done....I might start in about 10 days
Merry Christmas to All and God bless You

this year I will start directly after Halloween.. But it will go slow.
After a Achilles Tendon rupture and the surgery to fix it, I still have to use a Walker. And all my decoration is in the basement..
Well,... I love my typing error

I know I posted in this thread last year, but I will post here again, since it's a new year! We will start decorating the weekend of Thanksgiving. We usually do Black Friday, but DH works and I work the night before, so there won't be much decorating that day. I may wrap some gifts once I get up on Black Friday, plus do some online shopping!
